Sat, 27 Dec 2014 13:57:48 +0530 If any IP's logged, check for frequency of DOS source packets and max frequency of packets to game port (normal users). DOS packets can be disabled if crossing certain frequency. Too low threshold might prevent a few users with high bandwidth (or low latency) from accessing the server. Frequency can be adjusted over time if logs not kept. Please upload output of 'iptables -S'

hello i do this type of work for large websites, i do some freelance job to make some extra income. we need to review iptables but also we will put in place a script to detect and be able to report, block certain ip ranges. we may need to fine tune kernel tcpip stack and implement a cron job to execute every few minutes to deal with the dos cheers fernando
