I have Buffalo N600 router that is running DD-WRT software. This will apply to OpenWRT as well.
1. I want to be able to send first 8 (or any configurable) packets in a stream to a remote server. I read that I should be able to monitor using iptables, but i am not as familiar and I am hoping it will be much quicket to get help from Pros.
2. I also would like to display active TCP connections similar to netstat
3. and I need script or command to be able to close any of the connections.
I am newbie to DD-WRT. In addition to above 3, I would like to hire a coach to learn about DD_WRT. If you are wilIing to do this I can hire you on hourly basis to coach me on how to use DD-WRT
Hello,
What you are looking for is perfectly do able. You will need tcpdump which is the command line version of wireshark. have it capture the first 8 packets then send them to a remote server. I can have this done for you fairly quickly.
if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
Thanks
