a lawyer needed to sort things out

I represent a group (30 persons) that are invested in real estate in the USA. The investing members of the group are to be holding, privately, stocks of the asset and have their names added onto the mortgage. The investment was carried out thru a third party that have changed ownerships and later changed the name. Our group is in search of a lawyer that can check into the matter. Some details should be taken into account: The original owner of the third party resides in NY. The new owner resides in NJ. the asset is in Il. The job is expected to be done in the following phases: 1: Establish the present standing of the asset and report it 2: Get in touch with either or both relevant parties and follow through the process of marking the mortgage and having the stocks delivered to the group. 3: If above fails – follow with a suit. (Supposedly. according to persons involved, it should not fail) we will consider all possible approaches. We nee to have the offer for each single phase as a stand alone job.
