Corporate Entity and other corporate legal matters advisor

I'm trying to determine what type of corporate entity to create (I'm leaning toward an LLC) for a couple business ideas I want to launch and also decide if I should file the paperwork myself or if I should hire an attorney (in California) to do it for me. I want to be as economical as possible but also not make any mistakes so I'm seeking assistance from someone with this type of experience and knowledge who can advise me.

I will also have ongoing corporate legal and tax issues/questions that I will need assistance with.
