Hello, if I understood correctly what you need is a Java implementation of a chess game between 2 human players on the same computer. The task seems to be more more about how to paint the chess table. The app will let the players drag a piece on the chess table. Is this going to be a 2D or 3D chess table ? Well, I wouldn't necessarily say I'm the best candidate but I could definitely get this project done in 3 days. I have pretty good experience working with Java, especially in games development, as I have made 3 small games in Java, and I'm currently working on a rather ambitious game project currently, so that's 4 games I've made/ been working on in Java alone. I also love playing chess so that really interests me. Depending on how graphics intensive you want this little chess game to be, I will either be using JavaFX or maybe a framework such as LibGDX depending on what you would prefer, although I am totally open to whatever libraries you think I should be using. These are all things that are negotiable. I'm positive that we could make a high quality chess app if you so choose to accept my bid. Keep in contact, Havidad
