CEdMA (Computer Education Management Association, [login to view URL]) is the premier non-profit organization for training executives, managers, and professional on a management path within hardware and software companies. CEdMA currently moves their services into a community model, where 6 communities will encourage CEdMA´s about 300+ members to share best practices in their field like curriculum, certification, operations and management and provide them with latest information in these fields. The CEdMA Community Lead will be responsible to curate content posted in each of the communities, will run web based community meetings, post directly new contents themselves and approaches and motivates members to more participation. Details: • Contact each new member to share all available services, help them to join relevant communities and introduce them to key contacts • Help to or create directly for each member a complete profile • Contact members, who didn´t participate to the community for some time, and offer support and provide recommendations related to their interest • Identify in the community key contributors, SMEs and Evangelists, and work closely with them to post new contents and also answer to community questions • Secure answers to questions of community members by approaching key contributors, SMEs and Evangelists but also other member the community lead has seen active in the area of the question • Ask continuously members for new postings of content and questions & answers • Propose new discussions using conference follow ups, forum postings etc. • Post contents from CEdMA Conferences, CEdMA newsletter but also learning publications (eg interesting books, articles, magazines, presentations) in general related to the community topics, or reference to those in the community • Send key information as updates proactively to members, other post at the community platform • Run every month a webinar type of virtual meeting: organize topics for the meeting and moderate meeting content wise (the CEdMA Liberian takes care of admin) • Secure that CEdMA Code of Conduct is applied all times in all community exchanges, eg not exposing competitive information • Recommend changes to web platform for communities and work with Operations Trustee to scope and implement those changes Absolutely required skills: o Absolutely fluent in written and oral English o Has managed web communities for min 1-2 yrs incl. content curation, posting and moderation o At least willing to familiarize with professional technical education business o Worked with community tools, either LinkedIn or other
