Hello! I've read you description and it's informative enough. Most of the employers here doesn't even try to explain their project as clearly as you did. Your project can be done using only HTML and JavaScript, but if you have a lot of data to show it would be wiser to use a database for this. Hi, This is typical category based selection functionality. There are several places such requirements exist like selecting a state and then cities with in the state, selecting a produce and then selecting variants of that product etc. I have worked on several such tasks. Using javascript alone the second list can be updated based on first list. The update can be static or AJAX based. You can create initial milestone but release that only after fully testing the code. Edit: I have quoted 3 days for complete testing. This task can be completed in an hour as I have such code template already with me. Thanks!

However, if indeed you want to do away with the use of a database, how do you intent to update your list of data? Do you wish to embed all your data inside of your html page? Will it be for local consumption or will it be used by others on the web ? The implementation of the user interface is not a problem, the issue for me is the storage of the data.
