• Develop a simple touch-driven application for dual-touch screen • Application to have recipes distributed in different categories, when a category is tapped on, recipes related to that category open up, when a recipe is tapped on, the ingredients, method and pictures related to the recipe are shown. • The availability of each ingredient or if any special offer / discount related to the that specific ingredient is shown • The recipe can be emailed or shared on Facebook and Twitter • A web-based or network-based CMS to upload all the content as described above • The main menu which shows all categories can be locked to only one category to be shown – For eg, a condition that if only ‘Baby Foods’ needs to be shown, the screen can be made to show only the recipes related to ‘Baby Foods’ category and not show any other category • All visual design directions and prototypes will be given, the developer only has to focus on the software development • This is not a website, thus no need for a cross-browser, responsive UI, the interface will have a fixed width and height

Hi, I offer a solution based on Adobe Flash/Flex (depending on the UI design mainly). The server side can be PHP & MySQL, but other options would be available as well. The screen machines should always be connected to the internet as all the data will be loaded from the central server. We can use nice transitions and effects to move from one screen to another. The most important part will be the recipe screen where the design needs to allow for any amount of text (as some recipes might be more complex than others). I only have 2 questions: 1. You mentioned 2 screens, but in the guidelines everything happens on the first one. What shows on the 2nd screen? 2. You mentioned multi-touch, but I only saw that in the pictures area. Is there any other area that needs multi-touch support? Thanks, George

Hi I've read the documentation, I could build up the CMS in php with mySQL on lamp. The UI could be build with html5 and javascript / jquery. The communication between the app and server could be done with json or xml. The share on facebook and twitter functions will not ask any credentials, will use fasebooks and twitter api to do this, in this way the users info will be safe 100%. The send recipe to email function could be done with AJAX and php. Would you like the app to be used on web or as app via PhobeGap? Ati

I read your workflow document carefully. I am very impressed because the document is so clear and detailed. I think I can start it whenever I receive design documents and prototypes from you. I intend to complete this project in 16 days. And below is my plan: - First day: Study your design documents prototypes and make questions - The 2nd - 5th day: Complete the first page with 20% release payment - The 6th - 10th day: Complete the second page with 20% release payment - The 11th - 14th day: Complete a CMS for the administrators to update content - The 15th - 16th day: test and fix bugs.
