I need help building / designing a website to promote myself as a trainer / speaker. I am after a sleek, simple design, and would like to incorporate any strategies to drive traffic to it as possible (SEO's, keywords, youtube links etc) I have most of the content ready to go, with photos and a showreel, but am unsure of how to design a website (wordpress has been suggested) and to load the information into it. It will be a simple site to start with, but I do need to embed some videos into it initially, and also host a video blog through it once it is launched. Down the track, I might also need it to have e-commerce capability as I develop products to sell in an online store. I will also need to link it to another website I currently have for cross-promotion. My knowledge of this stuff is very, very basic, so patience with me will be required!
