Who is VisionGen? VisionGen is an exciting event organizer which is involved in organizing fun, amazing and unique music concerts & festivals in all types of genre. VisionGen is going to organize the Asia-Pacific Wind Orchestra Music Festival. What is the vision for the Asia-Pacific Wind Orchestra Music Festival? The Festival will be a bi-annual classical music festival for young and old alike, where concerts, performances, masterclasses and workshops will be organized, culminating in a grand finale concert which will showcase the finalists of the classical music competition which will be held in conjunction with the Festival. Wind orchestras from all over Asia-Pacific will compete in the Festival. The first Festival will be held in December, 2015 in Kuala Lumpur. What is the mission of the Festival? The mission of the Festival is to create inspiring and positive learning experiences for young musicians through performances, cultural exchanges and workshops. The Festival will also increase the public’s awareness and appreciation of the value of music & arts education. Exactly what do we need for/in the website? It will be a website that the designer has to create from scratch. The site will have a new domain name. It will advertise, publicize and provide detailed information about the Asia-Pacific Wind Orchestra Music Festival – the site will have many photos & video. It will link to an online ticket vendor. The website will substantially be made out of photos & videos of the resident orchestra, the soloists as well as the judges, who will be internationall acclaimed musicians themselves. We need to run the following in conjunction with the website: Facebook; Blog; Twitter; and Instagram. Suggested fonts for the site: Optima/CG Times/Palatino/any font which has a corporate feel to it. We want the website to be vibrant, colorful, exciting and sexy, as opposed to staid, boring, gray and old. The site's go-live date will be 1.6.2014. For completion of this project, please have this up and running on a development webserver we can access to test its functionality on or before 11.5.2014. We are going to hire a developer/team of developers to create this simple website. If this milestone is completed well, there will be more work immediately, as we are a group of diversified companies and we need other websites to be up and running.
