Compiling DYNA3D Source Code (Fortran language based source code)

Currently I have two versions of DYNA3D source code (Fortran file) to compile, build the solution and run the analysis:

1. Dyna3D v2000

This DYNA3D source code files are written for Unix. Hence for a Windows PC, there is no easy way other than trying to compile it and working through the error messages.

The expert should be familiar with the use of the Fortran pre-processor (to deal with the #ifdef and similar statements) and use the instructions to identify appropriate pre-processor definitions to use. I think it is not easy to port the graphics libraries (such as diglib) for windows since the source code files are written for Unix.

2. Dyna3D v2004

This is the version to be used as a point of comparison for the improvement of the above version. It has been modified for windows PC application. I have successfully build the project to get the .exe file but wondering as it fails to run the analysis. The corresponding d3shp file (one of the output files generated by the DYNA3D) shows an 'Error in routine argptr3'. Attached files are the examples of d3hsp files (with and without error).

The purpose of this project, therefore, is to ensure both versions working perfectly.
