Concept Artist: Graphic Design Artist

This individual would assist us in converting our ideas for games into visually appealing and engaging game interface. This is a critical position as only access players have to the game is through the interface. Some of the desirable attributes for this individual would be: 1. Ability to understand the requirements communicated verbally and/or written down and develop visual concepts from those 2. Keen eye for contemporary visual design. It would be desirable if the individual has played or interacted with social games like Farmville, Cityville, bejeweled, Café World etc. 3. Design philosophy is customer centric rather than the need for expressing one’s own artistic vision. Of course, for an artist it is important to bring individuality to designs but they should not interfere with the form or the function of the end product. In other words, someone who is willing to design per - “form follows function” rather than the other way round. 4. Experience in or keen understanding of designing user interfaces(UI) or user experience(UX). 5. Ability to work in a team environment and flexibility to work according to team requirements There are no hard and fast qualification criteria but following should be available: 1. High level of experience and proficiency with 2D graphic design software like – Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral Draw, Adobe Flash, Illustrator etc. 2. Experience of using 3D modeling/design/animation software.
