Hello, although your budget is too low I want to bid because I like what I do which is FileMaker Pro designing, every day of the year. You say in the post that you want to use the App only with FileMaker Go, so you want need desktop layouts, right? You can work and modify the App in your desktop using the iPad layouts although they design for each device screen changes from one screen size to the other.
By using FM Go you can have as many users as wanted, each with its own copy, or you can host the file in your desktop. If you place a copy on each user you'd have to have a syncing plug in to collect everybody's information into a main file. Or you can do it semi manually with the help of local scripts.
What information do you want to keep for the Assets? date of purchase is one?, how about barcode, inventory tags, purchase price, depreciation calculations, location where the asset is located, category of the asset (furniture, computer related, cleaning machinery), maintenance and so on?, what kind of reports do you need from Assets? in what type of business is the POS going to be used, how are you planning of imputing into the inventory (perhaps from Purchase Orders or manually typing incoming inventory/),do you need a report value of the inventory both, cost and sales?
My bid is tentative until I know the exact scope of the job.
