Then add in a code to automatically put in the formula so your cash book looks cleaner. Although I haven't seen the workbook yet, I am guessing that the Sales, Purchase, Expense tabs are also data entry tabs? If so, I would suggest using filter codes instead so you lessen the chances of data discrepancy between tabs...

I have already developed this for you. The VB form is a form in Excel and you will be able to enter the data into the form. The form will automatically fetch all sheets except the last sheet "Trial Balance" so you don't ever need to worry about adding the new ledger into the form if you ever need
