I have a excel spreadsheet that is functional but i need some help optimising the formulas and layout so data is easier to add in and analyse.
I have a monthly budget that allows me to see how much i should be spending different items each month (ie home phone, food, insurance ect)
At the end of each month i dump in all my transactions and categorise them into the above items and I can then compare my budgeted spend Vs my actual spend.
The system works, but it's clunky, i need someone to assist me in streamlining my data entry so i can just name each incoming transaction and it populates in the the month it's in.
