Good day,
Qualifications: I am a retired filesystems engineer, and have
performed many data recovery projects.
The project description indicates that the apple mac died, and that
it (the drive) won't spin. Can you please clarify whether this means
that the drive won't spin when attached to your (repaired?) apple
mac, or won't spin when attached to a healthy system?
If the former only, I would be glad to assist in your data recovery.
On selection of my bid, I will provide instructions on properly
packaging and shipping the drive. I will make available to you the
recovered data within 3 days time. Please note that it is not
possible to guarantee recovery of all data.
If the latter, the drive won't spin when attached to a healthy
system, I have only a couple approaches, and would defer to the
specialty shops for this job. While I would be less expensive, I
would not be able to make any guarantees regarding recovery of any
data.
The bid posted here is for recovery from a hard drive which spins
when connected to a working system.
