To Whoever It May Concern,
I am a final year B.E. (Chemical) from India. Summer holidays are in progress and despite an internship on heterogeneous catalysts, I am suddenly faced with a lot of extra time on my hands. That coupled with a healthy interest in chemical engineering is the major impetus behind this application.
Through Freelancer, I just finished a similar project on coffee production by the freeze drying process- it involved working out the material balances for the plant, making the process layout, and a preliminary cost analysis. This is what makes me confident that I shall be able to complete your assignment satisfactorily.
As far as my research background goes, till now I have co-authored two papers (the first of which won an award for being the 'Best Paper Presented' at the 13th International Mineral Processing Conference and the second one is being prepped for publishing). My previous summer internship was focused on developing novel methods to extract precious metals like gold and silver from PCB waste. My current summer internship is on the thermo-catalytic decomposition of methane using a Ni-Alumina catalyst (by serendipity, the process is also yielding carbon nanotubes, making it extremely profitable).
Kindly do not dismiss me for being a newcomer to this field -I assure you of my utmost dedication to the task at hand. I shall submit multiple drafts until they meet your satisfaction. Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries.
