We require a Solidworks model of the vehicle mounted crane/platform shown in the attached photo and drawing. You do NOT have to model the train, just the crane. Drawings will be provided that show basic dimensions, you will have to scale the missing dimensions. The model is for a spacial evaluation only so the model does not need to be 100% accurate. However, it should be visually very similar and the dimensions provided should be correct. The model MUST be a native Solidworks model in Solidworks up to version 2015. We cannot accept Solidworks 2016 because we cannot open a 2016 file. Limit mates must be used so that the crane boom cannot extend too far. Rotational mates must be used so that the crane boom can move and the turret can rotate. Please show us that you have actually read this brief by stating the colour of the crane in your response. Those that do not do this will be instantly dismissed. The drawing provided is an example to show you the level of dimensions that are available. We shall supply more similar drawings showing the crane in alternative positions. Drawings are in PDF format only. You do not have to model the flexible hoses and cables - Only the metal structure. To be awarded this work you MUST: *Use Solidworks 2012-2015 *Model in Solidworks, do not use other software and convert to Solidworks. *All files submitted must be native solidworks files *The model must use mates correctly to limit the movement of the crane. *You must scale the missing dimensions from the drawings provided.

The colour of the crane is yellow and black. Will be using solidworks 2015. The files handed over will be native solidworks files sldprt and sldasm. I have 3 years experience of product development using CAD. Can add missing dimensions to maintain the shape of the crane.

Crane has yellow color with black parts. It is standard warning color for technic. Crane has about ten or twelve meters height, I think. It would be better to know railway clearance for this track, if you want get more precise model. I design locomotives and it will be very interesting for me.
