Distance computation web service

Hello, I have read your requirements and I have already implemented similar functionality in my GPS Tracking system. In that I was calculating total Kilometer made by vehicles based on GPS position received from devices. So I can write web service in which you have to pass two GPS coordinates which will return you distance between these two points. As Different devices will send in different format and with direction so your co ordinates will be in decimal or degrees? Or if you can share your points from which you would like to calculate then I can say in which format Its sending or which format you are going to supply. So I have good experience and I can write web service quickly and deliver you quickly. My profile summary: I have 5+ years of experience and have developed many small to big application using various technologies. I can finish on time with very good quality. Please share details about co ordinates or points you are going to pass, so I can check and show you demo. Hope you will give chance to work with you and allow me to show my skills set. Hello, I would really like to participate in your project. I have more than 15 years of experience developing software, the last 10 on c#. I am an expert in web services, and I also hold a degree on Computer Sciences, so the calculations won't be an issue. I think a latitude - longitude input would be better for you, since you can then add another calculations by adding a conversion from. Just to confirm I am understanding that the calculation is the distance straight-line, not a calculation of a route through viable roads. Please let me know if you are interested.

Hi, I already have this code as a C# window application which calculates the distance with Haversine algorithm or using built-in GeoLocation functions of .net Framework. Please note that Haversine method calculates the distance between two points as a straight line. If this is ok for you, it will be very easy to convert to a web service. Thanks and good luck Ozzy
