I am really interested in your project, Actually when I go through it I came up with a idea of using CC2540 BLE chip instead on nrf. I have all the hardware tools required to develop a customized firmware for the 2540 SoC. Since it is a System n Chip actually we can eliminate the atmega processor and program the SoC to do that task.
