Need a faceless application (.exe) for Windows that grabs a news feed, saves it to a file, then quits. Faceless means there is no user interface. Here is what it does: 1) read a text file containing the feed URL - it will be named "[login to view URL]" and reside in the same folder as this application. use the feed URL in the Visual Basic code snippet below to test 2) grab the feed data 3) write the feed data to a text file named "[login to view URL]" and save it in the same folder as this application. 4) quit 5) If the [login to view URL] file does not exist or the feed cannot be downloaded after 10 seconds, the application must quit Here is a Visual Basic code snippet that does the grab of a news stream: Dim data As Stream = [login to view URL]("[login to view URL]") Dim reader As New [login to view URL](data) Dim feeddata As String = [login to view URL]() Dim file As [login to view URL] file = [login to view URL]("c:\[login to view URL]", False) [login to view URL](feeddata) [login to view URL]() [login to view URL]() Another demo URL for a news stream: "[login to view URL]"
