Clean up an AutoCAD template and reduce filesize of Dynamic Blocks

I have designed a number of dynamic blocks to allow the business to auto takeoff workshop orders. Being fairly new to this aspect of AutoCAD I need to make sure I have done this in the best way possible and that the file sizes are not too big. For some reason the blocks I have created seem to be very large in size which may be due to viability states? The blocks need to be inserted hundreds of times throughout a drawing and currently this is blowing some files out to over 20MB. I'm hoping an experienced AutoCAD user can review and make the template work much more efficiently. Maybe there is a simple solution or perhaps a rework is necessary to make it functional. The blocks are attached but I may need to explain functionality and share other files with the winning bidder. Applicants need a sound knowledge of dynamic blocks and depending on your experience there may be opportunities for ongoing work.
