Ingrams Joinery is a busy shop fitting and cabinet making company. We work on a broad range of commercial and retail projects. Following unprecedented growth and with major new projects ramping up, we are seeking a draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical and practical experience. Responsibilities: Reporting to the production manager, your main responsibility in this role is to develop high quality technical drawings/drawing documentation, relating to project specific requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring all plans are delivered efficiently on time and as your client expected. Other responsibilities involve: • Producing CAD Drawings with Ingrams Joinery systems • Producing accurate and timely reproductions and revised plans as requested • Assisting with the update and maintenance of the company CAD library Requirements: • Microvellum knowledge • AutoCAD experience • Kitchen & joinery manufacturing experience • Attention to detail • Ability to create cutting lists, for production • Ability to read and interpret joinery plans & architect plans • Knowledge of kitchen hardware, mechanisms and materials • Good communication skills and work as part of a team • Strong problem solving skills and ability to prioritise a busy workload • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Project

Hello, Although I have no microvellum knowledge I'm a fast learner, and very good with AutoCAD, both in 2D and 3D, I worked for many years designing tools to assemble car chassis for a company called Metalsa whose clients where Chrysler and GM. I have done some work in kitchen cabinets before using KitchenDraw. If you hire me for this job you will not regret it.
