I have a batch of .wma files which are recordings of English speakers ranging in duration from 15 minutes to 1 hour. Audio is mostly very clear. I estimate total amount of source material is 4 hours. I want a transcriber to produce text files from the speech, accurately typing what's said but leaving out the ums and errs. Format of the text isn't important - just a clear transcription. Deadline turnaround for the job is 9 APR. Please bid me your rate for this project assuming it is 4 hours of source material and describe your experience. If the duration of source material turns out to be over what I have estimated I will pay pro rata. If the material is under 4 hours I will still pay the winning bid.

At this time, I have done many different types of transcription, including quarterly earnings calls, street interviews, TV/radio interviews, personal memos, one-on-one interviews, medical reports, legal documents, H&P, SOAP, and phone interviews. I have a typing speed of 70+ wpm, providing that the audio quality is good and clear, I can normally complete one hour's audio in around 4-5 hours. My English grammar, spelling and punctuation is of an excellent standard.
