Hi there! I am an experienced writer/copy-writer, editor and proofreader - in short a master wordsmith! I have had plenty experience writing articles for clients' websites/magazines and newspapers, all I need is the basic info you want to communicate and a short background about yourself/your business.
A short background : With a BA Lang majoring in English, I qualified as a professional linguist working for the SADF Directorate Language Services; went on to be promoted in the SAN Language Bureau; then left to become first Deputy Editor &later Editor of Navy News Magazine; resigned after 18 years to freelance during which time I did ghost-writing of many books, wrote copy for clients’ websites & marketing material, edited & proofread 4 books and brought them to publication. I then worked as a Managing Editor for the prestigious Pearson Maskew Miller Longman publishers but left to freelance again when my contract expired as it suits me better to work from home as I have multiple sclerosis (manageable). I have subsequently co-wrote, edited & proofread numerous communications & another 4 books which have been successfully published.
I am meticulous in my work & pay careful attention to detail. I also endeavor to provide finished products with a quick turnaround time.
