my company have a FSK / Bell 202 type of phone and intend to use asterisk TDM to do authentication and also over SIP

brief call flow is as follows;

1. FSK phone calls to server

2. Server pick up the phone and send CAS

3. phone receive CAS and sends a DTMF A

4. server receive DTMF A and sends FKS messages "xxxxxx <DATETIME> Datetime format is DDMMYY HHMMSS

[url removed, login to view] receives FSK message and sends card ID info via FSK data burst. Immediately sends DTMF "D", pause for 100ms and sends DTMF "1" or DTMF "2"

6. server Receives FSK data burst, verify card info and sends CAS tone to confirm successful card verification.

7. phone Receives CAS, sends DTMF "A", receiver and microphone remain muted and keypad remains disabled

8. Server receives DTMF "A" and sends the next FSK message "Balance=$[url removed, login to view]"

9. Phone receives FSK message and displays received message. Enables keypad, unmutes receiver and microphone. User enters phone number. phone displays digits entered and sendskeypad entries via DTMF.

10. Server receives phone number as DTMF tone and forwards call to "B" party.

11. Start conversation

12. Server monitor call and decrement balance. If balance is $0.50, server sends message "Balance is $0.50". If B party disconnects, server sends ADSI disconnect (0x85). Server disconnects.

13. End conversation and Onhook

please note that asterisk will be sitting in the middle between the phone and the main server. Asterisk only functions as a bridge to FSK phone and the sever and asterisk does not perform any billing or cdr.

FKS phone must be able to communication thru SIP using the above call flow.

thanks
