ASP.NET User Interface to Oracle Database

A user interface built with ASP.NET against an Oracle database, for managing PL/SQL code fragments and their configuration for a code-generation system. The user-interface will need to be optimized for two types of users: code fragment "authors" and code fragment "configurers". The supporting database of code fragments and configuration metadata consists of approximately 20 tables, of which approximately 15 are relatively static (requiring very simple insert, update, delete functionality in the user-interface) and about 5 will require more sophisticated task- and workflow-based user interface design. The data model for the underlying database, and the workflow requirements at a high-level, have already been developed. For all of the above, we believe an experienced ASP.NET/Oracle developer will be able to complete the whole project in no more than 100 hours, but we are concerned more with the quality of the result than imposing an absolute limit on the amount of effort or number of hours involved. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form, complete source code of all work done, and technical documentation. 2) The project consists of the following 4 phases: (a) Joint development with us of a requirements document, which describes screen-shots for all screens, workflow, and all capabilities. This is expected to occupy approximately 1 week (elapsed) of collaboration (b) Development of a brief design document, enumerating the the underlying ASP.NET controls and implementation techniques and methodology. (c) Iterative implementation and unit-testing. (d) Iterative quality assurance review by Buyer for compliance with agreed-upon specifications. (e) Final delivery of product and accompanying technical documentation. (f) User Acceptance Testing. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): (a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. (b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law and a trade secret of Buyer. Upon completion, Seller is required to destroy all software created under this arrangement. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
