- the web app creates files: images and settings files.
- the android app can log into the web site (using a web generated 'clock code') and retrieve a 'clock package' file which contains images and settings.(can be multiple files)
- the android based app can then start a new widget based on these newly downloaded files.
- the free app runs for 1 week before displaying 'please buy the full app'
- the payed app runs forever, no need to copy protect it, etc.
- the android APP is a clock widget
- multiple size options (1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4) or resizable in ICS
- should be able to run more than 1 clock widget at a time. (multiple clocks on the same screen, etc)
user steps:
open web app.
1> choose a clock shape and size.
(1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, etc.. all combinations. this sets the widget size, and available work space for the clock build.)
2> upload image 1, (background image).
2a> clean up background of image by knocking out background color. maybe some 'eraser' cleanup if not too difficult. creating an image with transparent background.
3> size image 1 within the work space.
4> upload image 2, clock hand 1
4a> clean up background of image by knocking out background color. maybe some 'eraser' cleanup if not too difficult.
5> set the rotation point of the 'clock hand 1' image.
6> set rules for clockhand 1
6a> set # of steps in rotation (rotation is based on 360 degrees. a 12 step rotation would rotate the image 30 degrees per step.)
6b> set step period in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, or months. (a 12 step period where 1 step = 60 minutes would make an hour hand.)
7> set and size 'clock hand 1' image within the work space
8> repeat step 4 and 5 any number of times to add as many 'clock hands' as you like.
now the user can use the android app to retrieve the clock package.
ability for website users to browse clock packages.
