We need a simple android app (to be extended) that communicates with a c++ program in a windows desktop through local wireless network (not internet) The app should have: Main screen: 3 buttons configurable with images (different image when selected). Config screen: Set the desktop pc ip and port address for comunication C++ program: Simple console main in loop to receive/send data to the mobile phone app (ip of the android device could be read from a text file) Behavior: When clicked one of the buttons on the main screen, data with the command clicked should be sent via tcp/ip to the c++ app that print it out and sends back a successfull msg to the app (and the button image changes). Any more info needed just send me a message.

Dear, I have developed many many client/server apps in C++ and android. Recently developed a similar app as yours in which android app connects to desktop app and pass data. Please explain as its not clear from your requirements which app will act as a server..android or C++ ? Because you stated that there will be a config screen in android app to configure ip and port of desktop ...and in C++ ip of android is read from text file....
