Artists-oriented Social Network Website

Application Extents Build a web platform that permits users to share multimedia contents and manage interactions between them. A database model is available. About contents Multimedia-type (audio, video, photos and text). Presented through a player that permits pausing, forwarding and changing media. The player can offer alternatives to play differents contents based on user preferences, history, etc. The player could reproduce a main content and a secondary content (ie: a music background and a photo gallery) About the Player We are in search of an open platform. In case of Youtube contents, we’d like to be reproduced without the standard player, instead we prefer to reproduce it thorugh Youtube’s API: [login to view URL] , or through HTML5: [login to view URL] . In case of audio reproduction, we could like a Javascript solution. About users and its possibilities The application permits the registration of new users in its own database. It also permits the linking of user accounts with Facebook users through Facebook Login. The users can: - Make groups - Design administrators - Follow other users - Load and edit contents when they have rights. - Comment about other contents - Create shows, gigs, meetings and other calendar activities. Hierarchies and database relationships An user (in USER table) can create an Artist (in ARTIST table) An Artist can create a Composition (in ARTS table) The Composition Type are definied in MEDIA table An user who creates an Artist can create Administrators (in ArtistRights table) Look-and-feel Is constant along the website: The player over the left side (about a 66% of the width of the screen), and a control bar over the right (occuping the remaining 33%) Statistics We want a registration of the type of visited pages, user activities, etc
