I need a small routine that will fade the windows in Mac OS X using either the Carbon or Cocoa APIs. These windows are not owned by the application that this routine will be included in, so I'm thinking that Carbon will be the API used here. I want to be able to pass the process ID (either the UNIX pid or the Carbon PSN) to a routine.
