Dear all,

I am opening a small/medium sized boutique hotel (39 rooms) in the old town of Gdańsk (Poland)...located in 3 townhouses (yellow, orange, pink on the pictures). The hotel will be uncategorized therefore I am not allowed to use &quot;-hotel&quot; as an adjunct. The name is &quot;FAMA RESIDENCE - Gdańsk Old Town&quot;.

The name derives from the Golden Gate (one of the city&#039;s major monuments), we are located just next to the Golden Gate on &quot;Długa 81-83&quot; (major old town street).

Both sides of the gate have attiques, with figures symbolizing the qualities of the ideal citizen. They were designed in 1648 by Jeremias Falck (&quot;Polonus&quot;), and reconstructed in 1878 due to the originals being damaged by weathering over time.

From the West side they represent (in Latin): Pax (Peace), Libertas (Freedom), Fortuna (Wealth) and Fama (Fame). From the East (Long Lane) side they are Concordia (Agreement), Iustitia (Justice), Pietas (Piety) and Prudentia (Prudency).

The interior design is Scandinavian (In the added files I&#039;ll send you some pictures of the material we use and the color pallet...unfortunately I do not have a visual project since I did not hire an interior architect)...wall color will be predominently light grey and white, light wood furniture, anthracite room doors.

I am looking for a simple, minimalistic logo and was thinking to simply take the silhouette of one of our roofs and &quot;FAMA RESIDENCE&quot; in a minimalistic fond.

I am not sure if &quot;Gdańsk Old Town&quot; should be included in the logo or if it becomes &quot;too much&quot; then....it is up to you to try different things...I used Gdańsk Old Town in addition to the name for Search Engine Optimization reasons....so it does not have to be included in the logo.Also feel free to underline FAMA more than Residence or both equally (whatever you feel looks best).

In general I am open if you have a completely different idea...you are the creative minds...so please feel free to bring in your own ideas.
